Support Local Charities: Manchester IT Firm’s Call to Businesses

Last summer, Greater Manchester-based IT Support firm, Aspect IT, celebrated its 20th year in business by committing to doing ’20 Good Deeds’ in the community. Today, the team is proud to announce that they have successfully completed their 20th good deed and are now urging other businesses to follow suit.

Director for Aspect IT, Peter Dorotiak, expressed the firm’s passion for giving back and making a positive impact in the community. He stated, “Even before our 20 Good Deeds initiative, we were always looking for ways to support non-profits. This initiative was extra special for us given its nature and scale. We believe it’s crucial for businesses to get involved with charitable work in their community, especially in these challenging times. It’s a rewarding experience and you meet many inspiring people.”

Throughout the 20 Good Deeds initiative, Aspect IT supported a variety of different charities in various ways. From simply reaching out to charities online and providing needed items to offering their skills and expertise, the team at Aspect went above and beyond to make a difference.

One of the Good Deeds involved creating a free website for the Leeds Ukrainian Community Association and helping a local animal rescue set up an online fundraiser. The firm also sponsored a staff member’s mum who ran the Great Manchester 10k Run, raising money for her local Maggie’s cancer support center.

The charities supported by Aspect IT during the 20 Good Deeds initiative include Huddersfield to Ukraine Humanitarian Aid, Oldham Foodbank, Age UK Oldham, Pennine Pen Animal Rescue, Pennine Mencap, The Crib Oldham, and Jolly Josh, among others. The majority of the Good Deeds were completed in Oldham and surrounding areas, but the team also ventured further afield to Leeds, Huddersfield, and even Ukraine.

Peter Dorotiak accompanied Huddersfield to Ukraine Humanitarian Aid on a trip to deliver Christmas presents to orphaned children, highlighting the firm’s commitment to making a positive impact both locally and globally. Aspect IT hopes that by sharing their experiences of supporting charities, other businesses will be inspired to do the same and complete their own Good Deeds.

As a business, Aspect IT’s mission to make a positive change in the community is ongoing. They plan to continue completing more Good Deeds in the future and encourage other businesses to do the same. Peter added, “Charity work is invaluable, but for volunteers to carry on doing what they do, they need our support.”

Founded in 2003, Aspect IT provides a range of services including general IT support, IT consultancy, cloud services, software development, VoIP services, web design, and social media management. The firm’s dedication to giving back to the community is evident in their commitment to supporting local charities and making a difference.

In conclusion, Aspect IT’s 20 Good Deeds initiative has not only benefited the charities they supported but has also inspired other businesses to get involved in charitable work in their communities. By sharing their experiences and encouraging others to do the same, Aspect IT hopes to make a lasting impact and create a culture of giving back. Together, businesses can make a difference and support those in need.
