People in Suffolk had to leave their homes as firefighters worked to put out a fire at a house. The Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service received a call about a building fire on Langer Road in Felixstowe at 11:44 am on Thursday. Fire engines from various areas such as Woodbridge, Orford, Leiston, Bungay, Beccles, and Clare rushed to the scene to help.

Thankfully, there have been no reports of any injuries so far. The Suffolk police had to close the road near Beach Station Road due to the fire at the house. A police spokesman mentioned that a few residents had to evacuate as a safety measure.

In addition to this incident, another fire is being battled at the Sackers recycling center in Great Blakenham. A total of 22 fire engines from Suffolk and Essex are currently present at the location trying to control the fire. The smoke from this fire can be seen in various parts of Suffolk like Felixstowe and Mendlesham.

Due to the ongoing fire, all train lines have been blocked in the area. The situation is being closely monitored by the authorities to ensure the safety of everyone involved. Residents are advised to stay away from the affected areas and cooperate with emergency services to manage the situation effectively.
