In the fitness industry, Pilates has become a popular trend, with many people prioritizing their health and wellbeing. Three sisters, Sam, Ellie, and Mia Spencer, have capitalized on this trend by opening a new Pilates studio called YOU, Mind, Body and Soul, in Whitefield. The sisters, who are all avid Pilates fans, noticed a gap in the fitness market in their local community and decided to fill it by opening their own studio.

Since its opening in August, the studio has been a huge success, with classes booked solid and glowing reviews pouring in. The sisters offer four different levels of intensity classes and plan to be open seven days a week. Sam, the director of the business, expressed her gratitude for being able to embark on this venture with her sisters, highlighting the importance of family and community in their business.

Pilates is known for its focus on core strength, flexibility, and body awareness, making it a popular choice for many fitness enthusiasts. The sisters saw an opportunity to cater to the community’s interest in Pilates, especially since there was a lack of studios in the Whitefield and Prestwich area. With over 577 customers already registered on the studio’s website, it’s clear that there is a demand for Pilates in the area.

In addition to offering Pilates classes, the studio has partnered with a local coffee business, Spice & Grind, to provide visitors with a full ‘wellness’ menu. This menu includes specialty coffee, açai bowls, and protein shakes that can be pre-ordered before a workout. The studio aims to create a positive and welcoming environment where people can come together, exercise, and relax.

With plans to host a coffee area and provide pre-order options for customers, YOU Mind, Body, and Soul is more than just a fitness studio – it’s a community hub. The sisters are committed to bringing people together and promoting overall wellness in their local area. By offering a range of classes and services, they hope to create a space where everyone feels welcome and supported on their fitness journey.
