Sypris Solutions, Inc. recently made an exciting announcement regarding the appointment of Curtis S. Petrie as the new Vice President of Administration, effective September 1, 2024. Mr. Petrie, who has been a Corporate Director of the Company, will continue to be based at the headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky, and will report directly to Jeffrey T. Gill, the Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Sypris Solutions, Inc.
Curtis S. Petrie has an impressive background within the company, having previously served as the Corporate Director of Information Technology, Human Resources, and Internal Audit starting from October 2022. Prior to that, he held the position of Corporate Director of Information Technology and Human Resources from August 2019 to September 2022. His journey with Sypris began in 2007 when he joined as the Corporate Director of Information Technology. Before joining Sypris, Mr. Petrie worked as the Chief Information Officer for F+W Media, Inc. and later for Lexmark International, Inc. in the Asia Pacific Group. He started his career with Lexmark International, Inc. in 1995 and took on various senior-level roles in different global assignments. Additionally, Mr. Petrie served on the Robertson County, Kentucky Board of Education from 2000 to 2002 and is a Kentucky Governor’s Scholar. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
