British toy company Hunter Price International has recently made a significant move in its expansion strategy by acquiring online toy retailer BargainMax. With this acquisition, Hunter Price aims to capitalize on BargainMax’s established e-commerce channels to enhance the distribution of its wide range of products, including toys, lifestyle items, stationery, and arts & crafts.
Co-CEO of Hunter Price, Josh Eden, highlights the potential of integrating BargainMax into their operations to further expand their brand across Europe. Known for manufacturing licensed consumer products such as PAW Patrol plush toys, Crayola imagipals figures, Barbie accessories, and Peppa Pig merchandise, Hunter Price is set to leverage this acquisition for growth.
Furthermore, Hunter Price recently secured two new licensing deals in July, signaling its commitment to innovation and product development. The company will be producing stationery and accessories for a collaboration with MGA Entertainment and Crayola’s L.O.L. Surprise! brand, as well as introducing products for Kellogg’s Pringles and Frosted Flakes food brands.
As part of the acquisition agreement, BargainMax will continue to offer a diverse range of products on its platform, including popular items like Funko Pop! collectibles, LEGO sets, Barbie dolls, and NERF toys. This strategic move not only benefits Hunter Price by expanding its market reach but also ensures that BargainMax customers will have access to an even wider selection of quality products.
