Whistlejacket, trained by Aidan O’Brien, is gearing up to compete in the Keeneland Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh on Saturday. After a stunning victory at the July Stakes last month, Whistlejacket is aiming for his first Group 1 win. He will be joined by Heavens Gate, another Ballydoyle runner who recently won the Ballyhane Stakes at Naas.

The competition will be tough, with Juddmonte-owned Babouche looking to maintain her unbeaten record. Trained by Ger Lyons, Babouche has been impressive in her two career starts. Additional runners Arizona Blaze, Rudi’s Apple, and British raider Shadow Army will complete the lineup for the Phoenix Stakes.

Over at Newmarket, Aidan O’Brien will be looking for success in the Jenningsbet Sweet Solera Stakes with Lake Victoria. The Frankel daughter narrowly beat Red Letter on her debut and will face strong competition from Godolphin’s Mountain Breeze.

In Haydock, Group 1 winner Anmaat will be making his comeback after a long absence in the Group 3 Rose of Lancaster Stakes. Trained by Owen Burrows, Anmaat will be up against Mujtaba from Shadwell Estates and multiple winner Lord North.

The Shergar Cup at Ascot promises full-size fields in all but one of the six contests. The jockey bookings for the team competition are yet to be finalized, adding to the excitement of the event.

These weekend races at Ascot, Haydock, Newmarket, and the Curragh are set to provide thrilling horse racing action for fans and punters alike. Stay tuned for updates and results from these prestigious events.
