In his third decade of performing live electronic music, British artist Saytek is gearing up for his first American tour later this year, bringing his unique house and techno grooves to dance floors across the pond. After the success of his Twenty album on Carl Cox’s Awesome Soundwave label earlier this year, Saytek continues to wow audiences with his improvised live shows and boundary-pushing sound.
His latest Octival EP, released on his Cubism label, perfectly captures his current sound. We caught up with Saytek as he gets ready to perform in Berlin at Rave The Planet, Sisyphos, and KitKat club. He shared insights into the making of the tracks on the EP, Octival and AS1D.
