This weekend, the Blackpool Airshow is back with lots of people expected to come to the Lancashire seaside town to watch various aerial displays. On Saturday, August 10 and Sunday, August 11, many civilian and military aircraft will be flying above Blackpool. Some of the highlights on Saturday include the RAF Typhoon, Spitfire XIX & Mustang P51D, and the famous Red Arrows. Throughout the weekend, there will be performances by Swordfish, Wingwalkers, The Ravens, Muscle Pitts, and Calidus Autogyro.
Aside from the aerial displays, there will also be activities on the ground in the Airshow Village, open from 10am to 6pm. The airshow will take place between 2pm to 5:30pm, and the village will have various stalls and attractions on the Tower Festival Headland.
The Red Arrows, the premier aerobatic display team, will be performing over both days. Visitors will have the chance to climb into the cockpit and experience what it’s like to be a Red Arrows Pilot.
