breaking-news-massive-smoke-plumes-near-trafford-centre-live-updates

Huge plumes of thick smoke can be seen billowing into the air near the Trafford Centre tonight. It’s Friday, May 23, and the exact location of the apparent blaze is not really clear at this point. Videos on social media are showing clouds of smoke, and some footage even captures the Trafford Centre in the background, although it doesn’t seem to be affected. We’ve reached out to Greater Manchester Police and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service for more information, so stay tuned for updates on the situation.

Emergency Response on Site
Police and firefighters are currently at the scene this evening, working to address the situation. The image shared by Alex James on Facebook shows emergency vehicles in action. It’s a bit chaotic out there, but the authorities are doing their best to handle the matter. Not really sure why this matters, but it’s always reassuring to see emergency services on top of things in times like this.
