Geri Halliwell’s husband, Christian Horner, has been cleared of the sexting scandal that had put their marriage at risk. The Red Bull Formula One boss was accused by an employee of making suggestive remarks and leaked texts. After a judge cleared Horner of any wrongdoing in March, the employee launched an appeal which has now been thrown out.

The F1 team confirmed that all stages of the appeal process have been concluded, and the final outcome is that the appeal was not upheld. This decision has been accepted and adopted by Red Bull. The drama surrounding the scandal had caused “weeks of hell” for the family, but Geri is said to be very relieved that the ordeal is finally over. Despite the challenges, she stood by Christian throughout the entire process.

Christian, who earns £8 million a year, denied the allegations of inappropriate behavior. He and Geri presented a united front when the initial complaint was dismissed. However, leaked alleged sexts and an email exchange caused further distress. Geri, feeling mortified and angry, even briefly reverted to her maiden name. Nevertheless, she showed her support by appearing at Silverstone last month with her husband, step-daughter, and children.

The unnamed complainant has been suspended by the team. The couple’s marriage, which had been strained by the scandal, now has a chance to recover with this resolution. Christian and Geri have faced the challenges together and are looking forward to enjoying their summer break with this weight finally lifted off their shoulders.
