tottenhams-njury-concern-before-man-united-europa-league-final

Manchester Evening News Icon here with some juicy sport news for all you football fans out there! Manchester United FC is gearing up to face Tottenham in the Europa League final later this month, and it looks like Ruben Amorim’s side might have a little advantage with Spurs dealing with a new injury worry.

During their recent Premier League match against Crystal Palace at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Spurs star Dejan Kulusevski suffered a major blow. The poor guy had to be taken off early in the game after getting a nasty hit, possibly to his knee. He tried to tough it out, but it was clear he wasn’t feeling too great, which is definitely concerning considering the big final against United coming up.

After coming off the field, Kulusevski went straight to the tunnel, with Mikey Moore stepping in to replace him. Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou must be crossing his fingers that it’s not a serious injury, especially with the final set to take place in Bilbao on Wednesday, May 21.

Spurs have already been dealing with some injuries in that area, with recent setbacks for James Maddison and Lucas Bergvall. Postecoglou had previously expressed his happiness at having Kulusevski back in action after a foot injury that kept him out for four games.

“It’s great to have Deki back,” Postecoglou said. “He missed a lot of football, but he’s been getting stronger with every game. He’s a hard worker and a key player for us, so hopefully, this injury won’t keep him out for too long.”
