A Not-So-Model Citizen

In a rather shocking turn of events, a serial domestic abuser, Ainsley White, was seen giving a thumbs up to a judge as he strolled out of court a free man. This guy intentionally made his girlfriend crash her car by yanking on the handbrake while she was driving them back from a trip to Blackpool. And if that wasn’t bad enough, he then proceeded to attack her with a wheel locking nut, leaving her scarred for life. What a winner, right?

The incident, which took place on August 11, 2024, involved White and his girlfriend getting into a heated argument while driving home. This led to White pulling the handbrake, causing the car to spin out of control and hit a curb. Not satisfied with just that, he then took over the driving, only to have the tire pop shortly after. And as if things couldn’t get any worse, while trying to fix the tire, he decided to blame her for the mishap and threw a wheel locking nut at her face. Classy move, White, real classy.

The victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, bravely shared in a statement read in court how the incident has left her with a permanent scar, a painful reminder of the horrors she endured at the hands of White. She even admitted to lying about how she got the injuries, out of fear of what White might do to her. Honestly, not really sure why this matters, but she also mentioned that she was always terrified of White and lived in constant fear of him.

It’s quite baffling to think that White had the audacity to show such blatant disregard for his actions, even going as far as threatening police officers during his arrest. This guy clearly has a history of violence, with a whopping 36 previous convictions for 74 offenses dating back to 1996. And get this, he’s been convicted of attacking not one, not two, but four different partners. A real charmer, this one.

Despite his long rap sheet, White managed to escape immediate custody this time around, thanks to some leniency from the judge. Instead, he was handed a two-year community order, along with a laundry list of other requirements and a hefty fine. And would you believe it, White’s reaction to his sentence was to give a big thumbs up and say, “Thank you.” What a stand-up guy, right?

In the end, it’s clear that White’s violent and controlling behavior has left a trail of destruction in his wake. Let’s hope that this sentence serves as a wake-up call for him to get the help he so desperately needs. But hey, maybe it’s just me, but I feel like actions speak louder than words, and White’s actions speak volumes about the kind of person he really is.
